An all-in-one mobile refrigerator trailer solution that is completely self-contained. The Frigid Solar refrigerator trailer houses multiple individual refrigeration units, each independently configurable in refrigeration mode or freezer mode, allowing precise control for mixed cold-storage needs. A fully integrated solar electric power system—with multiple high-efficiency solar panels and large-capacity battery storage—is sized to power the refrigeration units entirely by the sun. Engineered for continuous operation across all seasons and environments, the system delivers reliable, off-grid cold storage without the need for external power. 

Under typical operating conditions, Frigid Solar refrigerator trailers are engineered with sufficient battery capacity to power the cooling system for approximately 2–4 days without sunlight. In real-world use, some level of solar charging is usually available even during overcast conditions, which can further extend operating time beyond that range.

In extremely rare circumstances where solar power generation is severely limited for extended periods, the system includes a fully integrated propane generator. This backup system automatically maintains the minimum battery charge required to ensure the refrigeration units continue operating without interruption.

Currently, Frigid Solar offers one refrigerator trailer size: 7 feet wide by 12 feet long. This model includes four modified chest-style refrigeration units, a fully integrated solar electric system, and a backup propane generator for rare extended low-sun conditions.

Additional larger and smaller models are in development and will be released in the future.

Each Frigid Solar Trailer is equipped with multiple refrigeration units that can be configured to operate in either refrigeration mode or freezer mode, depending on your needs.
